Cloudflare builds a browser for bots that couldn't care less about smooth scrolling

Cloudflare announced Kitesurf, a browser built entirely on Cloudflare Workers using V8 isolates, designed specifically for AI agents rather than humans. It skips human-centric features like tabs and themes in favor of low memory/CPU usage, structured content extraction, and a threat model built around prompt injection and tool safety. The project was prototyped with AI assistance, uses Rust compiled to WebAssembly, and is available for free in beta through Cloudflare's Browser Run API.
